This lovely French needlecase is carved of mother of pearl and is very high quality. It measures almost 3 3/8" long and has an embossed gilded band at the opening. It has a very unusual enameled gold seal set into the front in lieu of the usually seen pansy. It depicts a flower filled urn and is especially detailed.
It has is a fine crack on one side of the sleeve that fits under the top. The condition is otherwise perfect with no chips or other damage and the mother of pearl is very luminous. The top fits on well. The postage shown includes Registered shipping for non US addresses and insured shipping within the US.
