Antique Carved Ivory Acorn Tape Measure * English * C1800

This little antique tape measure is carved of ivory in the form of an acorn. The top has turned rings and the sides are smooth. The top has some surface scratches or perhaps ivory flaws, but they don\'t go through. The condition is otherwise excellent with no chips, cracks or other damage. It measures 1 1/4\" long.\n\n

It has a thin blue silk ribbon tape that has been marked in inches. The tape is complete and a yard long. The ivory stop on the tape is original. The turned finial on top turns to wind the tape back in and it works perfectly.
