These pretty antique silk winders are made of beautifully patterned natural tortoise shell. One is a six point star and the other is round, elaborately carved and scooped around the edges. It measures almost 1 1/4″ in diameter and the star is 1 1/2″ across the points. The condition of both is excellent with no chips, cracks or loss. Tortoise shell winders are rare and these are two nice ones.
