This antique needle case is carved of real ivory with palm-like leaves and beading flowing diagonally around the sides. The quality of the carving is excellent and the ends are also beautifully carved.
The edge of the top has a very fine 1/2″ hairline crack. The condition is otherwise excellent and it screws together perfectly. It measures 3 3/4″ long and has a lovely patina.
