This disc style pin cushion is carved of ivory in the form of a little wheelbarrow. Both sides have gold leafed acorns with hand painted details. It has a nice old patina and ivory grain pattern. The front has a little wheel that turns. It has the original pale blue silk velvet cushion that is worn a bit on top but fluffy around the sides and back. The condition of the ivory is also excellent with no chips, cracks or loss. It dates to the early 19th century and measures 3 3/8″ long x 1″ wide & 1 3/4″ high.
