This elegant crochet hook has a smoothly carved ivory handle covered with sterling silver (tested). It is in its original, sliding presentation case, velvet lined black leather with a gold Old English monogram on the top (E.C.B., I think). The box is 6 1/8″ x 3/4″ and is a bit worn.
The condition is of the crochet hook is excellent with no chips, cracks or other damage and the hook is strong. It has a nice, glossy patina and measures 5 3/4″ long. It’s smooth and lovely in the hand and would be fun to use. The hook is about the same size as an American B or 2 mm hook.
