This miniature vinaigrette is carved of real ivory with a little handle. The handle unscrews and a little piece of cotton or sponge saturated with perfume would have been pushed inside the flower shaped top.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or other damage. It has a lovely old patina and screws together well. It measures 2″ long. It’s so small, it may have been made for a child.
