This nice little reference book by Shire Publications is a good introduction to needlework tools of every form. The author has a lot of history and solid information on the tools and covers thimbles, thimble cases, needle cases, pin cushions, emeries, tape measures, thread winders, waxers, reel stands, scissors, clamps, tatting shuttles, stilettos and more. It is well illustrated with dozens of colors and black and white photos and focuses especially on English and European tools.

It has a soft cover with 32 pages and measures 5 7/8" by 8 1/4". It was published in England in 2011 by Shire Publications. This is reprint of the 1999 edition with a new cover. This is a brand new copy and the ISBN # is 978-0-74780-399-7.
