This nice English needlework set is in a green velvet case with the original fitted velvet & silk interior. The top is mounted with gilded ormolu decoration in the corners. The tools include a mother of pearl handled stiletto, penknife and button hook. There are also steel scissors and a steel bodkin.

The mother of pearl is all in excellent condition with no chips or damage and the tools are rust free. The scissors have curling shanks and measure 3 7/8" long. They cut but need sharpening. The velvet has almost no wear to the nap and the box is in overall great condition, inside and out. It measures 5 1/2" by 3" and closes securely with a flip up brass latch.
